Advantages of vacuum packing
Vacuum storing is a perfectly natural way of extending food shelf life without changing the food’s taste with various more or less harmful additives. By removing oxygen from the packaging, you ensure that microorganisms won’t have the best environment they need to multiply. This way your food won’t spoil as quickly. Vacuum storing wine
Vacuum sealing wine with Vacuum Stoppers considerably slows oxidation and preserves wine quality for several days. What this means for you is that you can enjoy a good bottle of wine for several days and feel free to pour your guests a glass from a previously opened bottle.
You can use Vacuum Stoppers for all wine sorts. How long they will keep depends on the sort – the sorts with added spirits will keep the longest. We don’t, however, recommend using our stoppers for storing sparkling wines or fizzy carbonated drinks.

If you vacuum seal them with Universal Vacuum Pins, you will stop mould from developing and ensure that they will last up to four times longer. Using vacuum Wine Stoppers and Universal Vacuum Pins
Our vacuum stoppers for bottles and pins for pickling jars are very simple to use and don’t require buying any additional accessories outside this set.
Insert the Vacuum Stopper in an opened bottle of a suitable mouth size and extract the air using the included special edition Manual Vacuum Pump. This prevents the wine from oxidising, which would cause the wine to change its taste and aroma.
To vacuum seal opened pickling jars, you need to pierce the aluminium lid and insert the red Universal Vacuum Pin in the hole. Pierce the lid with the included attachment located in the handle of the Vacuum Pump. Store Universal Vacuum Pins in the intended space inside the special edition Vacuum Pump. This way you’ll always have them ready and won’t lose them. The vacuum packing procedure is the same as with vacuum sealing bottles.
The vacuum Wine Stopper doesn’t require particular cleaning; if it gets dirty, hand wash it using ordinary dishwashing products or in a dishwasher. The same goes for Universal Vacuum Pins.
The Manual Vacuum Pump doesn’t come into direct contact with food, so it shouldn’t get dirty. If needed, wipe it down with a damp cloth. After several years of use, lubricate the inner tube with paraffin oil.
The stiff part of the Vacuum Stopper is made of resilient ABS plastic, and the softer part is made of silicone.
The red Vacuum Pins for pickling jars are made entirely of silicone.
